It was in the 1960s that Wija Wawo-Runtu, drawn to Bali's tranquil beauty, built what was meant to be his private retreat. Little did he know, this haven would soon attract artists, writers, and visionaries from all corners of the world. Today, Tandjung Sari stands as a tribute to the island's ‘old world’ charm, its heritage preserved through rustic wooden doors, linen-draped verandas, and timeless elegance. The hotel’s rich history is etched into every corner, with whispers of rock stars and cultural icons who once called it home.
For our Autumn '25 collection, Bonita Bonita, we found ourselves in the heart of this dreamlike oasis. The soft glow of the setting sun cast a golden light over our new collection, while the iconic Balinese arches and lush greenery served as the perfect backdrop for a campaign that celebrates effortless style and timeless beauty.
Sixty years after its creation, Tandjung Sari has remained unchanged, its allure unspoiled by towering resorts or the rush of modernity. Instead, it offers a rare invitation to slow down, to pause, and to live in the moment. This quiet escape is a place where the world outside falls away, leaving only the sounds of the ocean and the whispers of an earlier time.
Much like the hotel itself, the Bonita Bonita collection was designed for slow days and stolen moments, a celebration of the spaces between movement, the pauses that make life feel rich and meaningful.
